A: More than 600 visitors attended the public artist teardown residency HAUS#99 in the Basel Neumatt district near the border with Allschwil (BL). Twelve artists from the most different disciplines made life, work and visit in this house a unique experience. Open from from noon till midnight.
B: A documentary of the project HAUS#99 was shown in the exhibition FORUM BASEL, curated by Andreas Ruby and Stéphanie Savio at S AM Schweizerisches Architekturmuseum (Vernissage: 19.05.2017, 7pm): «The more heterogeneous societies become, the more important it is to provide open spaces where we can experience ourselves as part of a community».
C: Thomas Jeppe’s underground gallery Unsere Umwelt, produced in the garden of Haus#99, was followed by Umwelt Mode. Umwelt Mode was a collaborative exhibition taking place at Clarastrasse 13, a gutted building formerly occupied by a generic clothing store. (Vernissage: Tuesday 13 June 2017, 18–22 Uhr)
